ABOUT US


Visiwani Sea Cucumber Farming Limited in Zanzibar focuses on sustainable sea cucumber and seaweed farming. They offer farm setup, training, market connections, and eco-tourism while promoting environmental conservation through mangrove restoration.

In January 2025, President Hussein Mwinyi launched their project in Pemba, with plans to build a processing factory producing 100 tonnes of sea cucumbers. This supports Zanzibar’s Blue Economy strategy.

Visiwani also trains local farmers in aquaculture techniques and helps them access global markets, aiming to boost community livelihoods and environmental sustainability.
